The structure of the fast car is more about optimal weight balance and immediate responsiveness rather than weight loss. Engine specs of the 2014 Jaguar F Type include: supercharged and intercooled DOHC 24-valve 3.0-liter V-6, 340 or 380 hp, 332 or 339 lb-ft; supercharged and intercooled DOHC 32-valve 5.0-liter. The V-8 is an evolution of the current 5.0-liter unit, with 495 horsepower, and 460 pound-feet of torque. Transmission is 8-speed automatic with manual shifting mode Fuel Economy: EPA city/highway driving: 16-21/25-30 mpg. All powertrains have direct injection and stop/start systems. Active exhaust is standard on the two higher-performance models. Safety technology includes traction and stability control, anti-lock brakes, brake assist, cornering brake control, blind spot monitoring, reverse traffic detection with Vision Pack, and automatic speed limiter.

2010 Jaguar XF

The 2010 Jaguar XF is a sleek and sexy fast car that is available in three trim levels: Base, Premium, and Supercharged. Base versions consist of a 300-hp 4.2-liter V8 engine. The other models have a 5.0-liter V8. When it comes to power, Premiums have 385 HP and the Supercharged versions have 470 HP. All versions use a 6-speed automatic transmission with JaguarDrive Selector which makes use of a rotary knob for gear selection. When the car is turned on, this device will rise into the palm of the hand and can be rotated to put the car in park, drive, reverse, neutral, and sequential mode. Also, the transmission includes steering-wheel paddles for manual gear changes. The V8 Premium Luxury XF has a base MSRP of $55,975. A Supercharged XF sells for $62,975 MSRP. The regular V8 version accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds. The supercharged model accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. The EPA estimates that the premium should get 16/25 mpg and the supercharged models should get 15/22.
